In October of 2014, Dr. Thomas H. Faerber was inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons in San Francisco. This was a great honor for Dr. Faerber since less than 5% of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons are Fellows.
The American College of Surgeons (ACS) is a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913 to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice. The American College of Surgeons is dedicated to improving the care of the surgical patient and to safeguarding standards of care in an optimal and ethical practice environment.
As a Fellow Dr. Faerber joins a wide variety of physician surgeons attending medical-based educational programs and access to a large network of surgical mission trips.
